Worried about a friend or fellow student?
 Refer them to a PMHA.

Project LETS aims to create an inclusive community and network for folks with mental illness through peer support services, advocacy efforts, and political change.

We are a chapter of the larger organization, which you can check out at www.letserasethestigma.com.

What makes us different?
We believe in individual, personal relationships, and that everybody has a fundamental right to access help and treatment. We help students and universities identify harmful policies and acts of discrimination.

Whats our goal?
We aim to provide real information, by individuals living with mental illness - not a laundry list of clinical symptoms that reveal little for how your life is affected, or how to cope successfully. We aim to close the gap between impersonal, clinical research and lived experience. At Project LETS, Inc. you will discover you aren't alone, find a safe outlet to express everything you're experiencing - from stigma, shame and fear, and in time, recovery. Most importantly, we aim to show others people living with mental illnesses live successful, incredible, meaningful lives.

We understand we're not professionals.
But we are the people this affects. The ones living with mental illness - every day of our lives. We are trained students dedicated to supporting our peers outside of their therapy appointments, and in an alternative, friendly way. Each of us have valuable insight to pass along, and know who to point you towards if the situation requires more help than we can provide.

Welcome to Project LETS at Brown.
Feel free to reach out with questions, concerns, feedback, or inquiries on involvement.
